Experience total well-being with our balneotherapy treatments. You’ll be made very welcome at the beauty centre, with a Turkish bath, sauna, spa and hairdresser. The treatments and massages provided will help you relax during your stay on one of the most beautiful campsites in France.

There’s a wide range of sports and fun activities on offer. Avail yourself of the fitness room with views of the pool while the children are at the Kids-Club, with its indoor play area. You can burn off some energy at the multi-sports court, with mini-golf, racket sports and cycle rides.

Nights out in Brittany

When night falls, it’s time to enjoy a show, with dances, concerts, magic and other themes. Children can go to their own disco nights, before putting on a show they’ve prepared themselves. Feel free to enjoy a meal at the bar restaurant, where the chef’s dishes are made with local products.

In the area around the campsite, set off to explore South Brittany. From the charms of Loire-Atlantique to the beaches, the town of Pornic is well worth a visit - explore its historic past with a trip to the Old Harbour. Nantes and Saint-Nazaire bridge are not far away, then you can enjoy an outing to the vineyards of Nantes or the marshes of Guérande.

Discover the Region

In the Loire-Atlantique region, our visitors are guaranteed a change of scene. The Boutinardière campsite in Pornic offers holidaymakers an ideal starting point for visiting southern Brittany.

Near the campsite, you can explore the picturesque centre of Pornic and its old port. The Château de Pornic, known as Bluebeard’s Castle, and bordered on one side by the sea, towers over the town. It is not open to the public, but it is possible to visit the courtyards.

On Bourgneuf Bay, the Noëveillard marina is the gateway to the natural ria that is the gateway to Pornic. It forms a natural link between the animation of the town and the pleasures of the sea. Facing the port, the Gourmalon district and its villas bear witness to the birth of the Pornic seaside resort.

On foot or by bike, at the lakeside, the Val Saint Martin (150 000 m²) attracts everyone who enjoys the quiet charm of the Pornic hinterland. A few minutes from the town and the old port, a wide range of activities are available: play areas, 3-kilometre mountain-bike circuits, fishing areas, etc.

Many parks and zoos (Planète Sauvage in Port Saint Père, the Grand Parc des Légendes in Frossay, the Ria botanical gardens) also welcome families only 20 minutes from the Boutinardiere.

Towards the islands

An hour away from Pornic, the famous “Passage du Gois” in Noirmoutier, a periodically flooded road that is unique for its length (4.5 km), is one of the major landmarks and curiosities of the island. At low tide, it gives access to Beauvoir-sur-Mer, where visitors can fish for clams, oysters and cockles. The salt marshes covering a third of the island, in the towns of Noirmoutier and L’Epine, can be visited all through the summer. The large number of salt cabins, where the famous fleur de sel is found, attract numerous visitors.

Another crossing, this time from Fromentine, 45 minutes from Pornic, is to the Île d’Yeu. 17  km off the Vendee coast, the 23 km² island concentrates a wide range of landscapes, including long beaches, coastal dunes and golden sandy creeks…

Between Saint-Nazaire and Nantes

You could then set off for Saint-Nazaire, an estuary and coastal town. The town has a variety of landscapes, with beaches and creeks, headlands and cliffs, a coastal path running along several miles and a new promenade along the sea front, a step or two away from the town centre.

If you pass through Nantes (an hour from Pornic), don’t forget to visit the famous Château of the Dukes of Brittany. The last château on the banks of the River Loire before the sea, this Breton monument, with its remarkable buildings dating from the 15th and 17th centuries, will take you on a journey into history. If you enjoy cycling, you can explore the trails in the Nantes area. The Loire à vélo (The Loire by Bike) is an 800-kilometre cycle path. It links Cuffy (near Nevers) to Saint-Brevins-les-Pins (across from Saint-Nazaire).
