Lake Pareloup

In the heart of the Aveyron, in Lévézou, this is the largest body of water in the region (1,200 hectares) with more than 100 km of very indented banks. Between Rodez and Millau, the artificial lake of Pareloup is situated on a wild plateau perched at an altitude of 805 metres, dotted with peat bogs and sheep and cattle farms. On the side of Salles-Curan or Canet-de-Salars, the most beautiful campsites in the area are on the water's edge.
